Accessibility Statement
Last updated: January 1, 2026
BetterCampus, Inc. ("BetterCampus") believes education should work for everyone. Our mission is to help students personalize their learning experience and stay organized, so they can improve outcomes with less friction. Accessibility is a core part of that mission.
Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are committed to designing and maintaining BetterCampus in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we work to improve accessibility over time.
What this statement covers
Scope of our accessibility efforts. This Accessibility Statement applies to BetterCampus's:
- public website and web pages
- browser extensions (including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari)
- in-product experiences that are part of the BetterCampus Service
BetterCampus operates as a browser-based overlay that enhances your experience on third-party learning platforms. Some parts of your experience may depend on third-party websites, content, or services that BetterCampus does not control.
What we do to support accessibility
Accessibility is built into how we ship. Our accessibility work may include:
- using clear headings, labels, and semantic structure
- supporting keyboard navigation where feasible
- maintaining readable text and sufficient color contrast
- improving focus states and interaction clarity
- testing common flows and prioritizing high-impact fixes
- reviewing accessibility feedback and tracking remediation
Because BetterCampus operates on top of third-party learning platforms, changes made by those platforms may affect how certain BetterCampus features appear or function.
Known limitations
Third-party dependencies. We work hard to keep BetterCampus accessible, but some limitations can occur, including:
- third-party platform updates that temporarily break layouts or interactions
- accessibility constraints introduced by third-party interfaces, embedded content, or linked services
- differences in browser behavior, assistive technologies, or device settings
We prioritize fixes for issues that block access to core workflows.
Feedback, help, and accommodation requests
Tell us what you need. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, need help using BetterCampus, or want to request an accommodation or alternative format, please contact us:
- Email: hello@bettercampus.com
To help us respond quickly, please include (if you can):
- the page or feature you were using
- your browser and device (for example, Safari on iPhone)
- any assistive technology (for example, VoiceOver, NVDA)
- what happened and what you expected
We aim to respond within a reasonable time and will make good-faith efforts to address accessibility barriers.
Legal and liability notes
No guarantee of uninterrupted accessibility. While we are committed to accessibility and continuous improvement, we do not warrant that every part of the Service will be accessible at all times or in all combinations of browsers, devices, and assistive technologies.
Third-party platforms. BetterCampus is not responsible for accessibility or changes in third-party learning platforms, content, or services. Those platforms may update or restrict features in ways that affect BetterCampus's overlay experience.
This statement is informational. This Accessibility Statement describes our accessibility goals and efforts and does not create contractual rights beyond those provided in our Terms of Service.
Updates to this statement
We may update this page. We may revise this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect improvements, new features, or changes to our accessibility practices.
